Plum ‘Biricoccolo Vesuviano’ harvested today 19th Aug 2015

Plum ‘Biricoccolo Vesuviano’ harvested today. Not a very large plum, but ideal for children. The skin has a slight fuzziness to it, and is a lovely dark red colour all around. The taste is sweet and a flavour that I can only describe as aromatic. This has to be one variety that is on my top 10 list.
