Russian listed Quince varieties

Anzherskaya – a foreign brand (France).  The fruits yablokovidnye, hilly, ripen in October, kept for 2 months.  Average fruit weight 200 g zoned in the Crimean and Astrakhan regions.

Ararati 10 – the fruit is round-conical, smooth, ripen in late October, kept 4 months.  Average fruit weight 300 g zoned in the Armenian SSR.

Ahmed Zhum – a truncated cone-shaped fruits ripen in early October  Are stored 4 months.  The average fruit weight 150-180 g zoned in the RSFSR and the Dagestan ASSR.

Beretski – a foreign brand (Hungary), the fruits of elongated pear-shaped, large, rough, mature in October.  Zoned in the Ukrainian SSR and the Turkmen Soviet Socialist Republic.

Golotlinskaya (Yablokovidnaya golotlinskaya) – the fruits ripen in October, kept 4 months.  Average fruit weight 130 g zoned in the Dagestan ASSR.

Gurgi quince – the fruits ripen in October, kept up to 5 months.  Zoned in the RSFSR and the Dagestan ASSR.

Jarden – elongated, pear-shaped fruit, slaborebristye, maturing in November, stored up to 5 months, are used fresh and for processing.  Average fruit weight 600 g zoned in the Azerbaijan SSR and the Turkmen Soviet Socialist Republic.

Abundant – the fruits of conical-rounded, slaborebristye, ripen in late September – early October, kept for 2 months.  Average fruit weight 300 g zoned in the Crimean region.

Compote (Sakompote) – yablokovidnye fruits ripen in early October, stores 1.5 months.  Zoned in the Georgian SSR.

Ktyun-Zhum – the fruits ripen in October, stored 3 months.  Average fruit weight 250 g Rayonirdvan in the Dagestan ASSR (Fig. 8).

Kuvinckaya krupnoplodnomu – pear-shaped fruits ripen in October, kept up to 3 months.  Average fruit weight 250 g zoned in the Uzbek SSR and Turkmen SSR.

Maslyanka (early oil) – the fruits are round, smooth.  Average fruit weight 150 g zoned in the Volgograd region.

Maslyanka later (later oil) fruits are rounded, slaborebristye taken from the tree in late fall after 2 months of consumer reach maturity and can be stored for 4-5 months.  Average fruit weight 120 g zoned in the Astrakhan region.

Meghri number 2 – the fruits ripen in late September maturation.  Zoned in the Armenian SSR.

Michi Yield (Prolific Mitch) foreign brand (USA), fruit maturation, the average fruit weight of 500 g is zoned in the Turkmen SSR.

Portuguese – Foreign grade (Portugal), pear-shaped fruit of irregular shape, ribbed, ripen in November.  Average fruit weight 300 g zoned in the Crimean region.

Skorospelka – fruit cylindrical, ribbed, ripen in October, stored 3 months.  Average fruit weight 140 g zoned in the Astrakhan and Volgograd regions.

Faure – the fruits are oval, rough, ripen in October, kept for 2 months.  Average fruit weight 350 g zoned in the Georgian SSR.

Schild (Shilduri, Schild) oval fruits ripen in October, kept for 2 months.  The average fruit weight of 500 g is zoned in the Georgian SSR.

Shirin – the fruits are round, ribbed, ripen in September, are used fresh and for processing.  Average fruit weight 150 g zoned in the Uzbek SSR and the Karakalpakstan Autonomous Republic.

Amber Krasnodar – incorrectly rounded fruit with a little ribbing, ripen in early October, stored 2-2.5 months.  The average fruit weight 150-200 g zoned in New Jersey.
