Russian listed Apricot varieties

Ambrosia – sort southern European origin.  The tree is vigorous.  The fruit is large (50 g), oval wrong.  Peel The straw-yellow with a blush.  Flesh is bright orange-yellow, juicy, sugary, with a little acid and aroma, the taste is quite satisfactory.  Bone large.  Middle-grade, productive.  Zoned in the Stavropol region  .

Arzomi – Central Asian variety of national selection.  The tree is vigorous.  The fruits are medium to large size (50-70 g), rounded, flattened laterally.  Peel the yellow-cream with a blush.  Flesh is yellow-cream, juicy, sour-sweet, good taste.  The stone is big.  Middle-grade, winter-hardy, productive.  Zoned in the Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic, the Kyrgyz Soviet Socialist Republic, the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic of Karakalpakstan Autonomous Republic and the Krasnodar Territory.

Babai – Central Asian variety of national selection.  Fruits are small (8 – 12 g), rounded-oval.  Peel the orange-yellow with a blush.  The flesh is yellow – orange, pretty sugary, with a very weak acid, a little juicy.  The stone is small.  Variety is middle samobesplodny.  Zoned in the Kirghiz SSR.

Isfarak – Central Asian variety of national selection.  Fruits are medium-sized or nizhesrednih (27 g), rounded, flattened laterally.  Peel the orange-yellow with a blush.  Flesh is orange colored.  little juicy, sweet, with a distinct acidity and a light fragrance.  Bone is of medium size.  Late-maturing variety, suhofruktovy, samobesplodny, productive.  Zoned in the Uzbek SSR.

Cheeked – sort of foreign origin.  The fruits are large, beautiful, golden-orange with dark red blush.  Flesh is medium density and richness, kislovago-sweet, aromatic, very good taste.  Maturation average – mid July.  The tree is vigorous, early on fruiting, high-yielding.  There are many different clones.  Zoned in the southern zone of the USSR.

Cheeked Nikita – a form (or clones) grade cheeked, differs from it in larger size and higher fruit and dining tin qualities.  Zoned in the Kazakh SSR and the Turkmen Soviet Socialist Republic.

Cheeked later.  The fruit is very large, beautiful, rounded-ovate, yellow-orange with a nice little slight blush.  Flesh light orange, medium-density, good taste.  Ripening later.  Tree strong growth.  Bred in Nikitsky Botanical Garden.  Zoned in the Stavropol region.

Red guerrillas.  The fruit is very large, broadly oval, lightly pubescence, yellowish-orange to red.  Flesh is yellow-orange, dense, medium juicy, sour-sweet, very tasty, srednearomatnaya, bitter seed.  Maturation later.  Sort table and canning, sredneurozhayny.  The tree is vigorous.  Bred in the Nikitsky botanical garden.  Zoned in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova and Dagestan (Fig. 20).

Nikita – a local variety.  Close to the red-cheeked, differs from it somewhat elongated, slightly compressed laterally fruits, with more tender flesh, ripening a few days before red-faced.  Bred in the Nikitsky botanical garden.  Zoned in the Ukrainian SSR.

Xurmai – Central Asian variety of national selection.  The tree is vigorous.  Medium-sized fruits (28 g), oval.  Peel the orange and red.  The flesh is orange, sweet, with a nice little acid.  The stone is big.  Variety is middle samobesplodny, suhofruktovy, productive.  Zoned in the Uzbek SSR and the Karakalpakstan Autonomous Republic.

Shindahlan – sort of Dagestan, brought from Arabia.  The tree is vigorous.  The fruits of medium or above medium size (30-40 g), rounded.  Peel densely pubescent, greenish-cream.  Flesh is golden-yellow, juicy, high sugar content and acidity, with a weak odor.  Bone is of medium size.  Middle-grade, canning, samobesplodny, productive.  Zoned in the Dagestan ASSR.
