Mantis Tiller Update – October 2022

As an additional detail noticed, but not logged on our previous blog for the Mantis Tiller, was the air filter. OK is was perished a bit, but……

You can see the clear sticky residue when the filter was squeezed. Not too sure what this is ? My intial thoughts was that the air filter was melting with the petrol. But his would been black. Maybe the residue from the petrol evaporating over the winter period.

I do not think we mentioned it but the engine is 100% petrol and NOT a 2 stroke mix.
