First Figs of 2014 – Bayern Brown Fig

This is one of many figs that have ripened over this last week. There are many other varieties following up. But this is the first, its called Bayern Brown fig, not to be confused with Brown Turkey.

This photo also shows the 2nd crop following up behind probably by another 4 weeks.
