Fig – Persian Green – temporarily withdrawn for sale.

Due to Paypal’s investigation into the sale of Iranian goods, and the downgrading of my Paypal account. I have had to withdraw this item for sale for the next 14 days.

I am not too sure if this a Spam/Phishing mail. But I thought I would respond.

Fig – Persian Green – was originally purchased as a tree in 2014 from UK supplier.

As a matter of course I have searched Persian carpets, and 100’s have come up. These items are not part of any trading embargo, which normally relates to technology / nuclear products.

The name Persian Fig I believe is just a colloquial name, used to identify an un-named variety appertaining to the pre 1935 area within the Persian region. This is just a name along the same lines as Prunus Persica, or Peach tree appertaining originally from Persia. Also the ‘Ironwood’ tree or Parrotia persica a very hard wood appertaining from the pre 1935 Persian region.

The Persian region in botanical terms does not necessarily only relate to Iran, but to the whole region including the likes of Turkey.

I will temporarily with draw that item for sale for the next 14 days.

Please immediately ‘unlock’ my account.
