Autumn 2012 Orchard visit to Morewellham Quay, Devon
They have an old orchard and new orchard, so I thought this was going to be a good visit, but my thoughts changed as the visit progressed.

Typical of the Tamar valley is the sloping gardens, so the sun has full effect early on in the year. Bringing on ripe strawberries and other fruit.

Fig tree and greenhouse on a south facing wall. This must get very hot in summer.

After inquiring as to why the orchard was all locked up. Nobody seemed to know or even tried to arrange for it to be unlock it for me. This was a big disappointment.
