Zhigulevskoe – apple variety

This variety from Pavlovsk Experiment Station, Vavilov Institute, St Petersburg, Russia in 1976. A high yielding variety that is resistant to scab, its fruits have soft, juicy flesh.

Ready for picking in late September. Its skin can be more red in colour.
