Walnut ‘Coble Nos 2’ first time fruiting 2015

This is the first time walnut variety ‘Coble Nos 2’ has fruited. The tree has only one nut on it, and hopefully it will not fall off, and I hope the squirrels do not get it.

It looks like its going to be big sized shell. Its got another 2 months to grow before we see whats inside. The tree is approx 5 years old and grafted. The walnut trees here do not grow very fast, as the soil is not exactly ideally suited, with it being heavy clay.
