With over 400 different varieties of apple trees, the time and space was getting in short supply. So we started grafting onto dwarfing rootstocks and replanting these as new cordons. Over the last 3 years we have been putting in posts and wires. This year it finally looks as thou we are heading into the right direction. So we put in bamboo support canes and started tying them back. We will soon be summer pruning.<\/p>\n
