Got some bud sticks of quite rare pears. I have run out of quince or pyrodwarf rootstocks, just what do I do ??<\/p>\n

Well I have some old stumps of quince, that I use for hardwood cuttings over the winter period. Decided to chip bud quite high up on the quince shoots. When the chip buds have taken, I will (during the next winter) cut the quince off, and then root the quince shoot with pear on top. Interesting to see if that works. Keep everything tagged up and recorded.<\/p>\n
