We decided to just buy whatever was available on Amazon and Ebay, and from our local garden centre, and also some of our own professional stock.<\/p>\r\n<p>I would highlight that we are in no way affiliated or sponsored with any supplier, and all results are raw and unbiased, and my own personal views. This was selected on the basis that M26 is notoriously bad at trying to get them to root. No good having easy rooting varieties.<\/p>\r\n<p>The rooting was carried out in a hot box, ie, soil warming cables embedded into a 50\/50 mix of composted bark chippings and perlite 6-8mm dia. The depth of the compost is 150mm, and only very slightly damp. Temperature was maintained at 20 deg C.<\/p>\r\n<p>The M26 cuttings were approximately 6mm dia off the previous season&#8217;s growth, taken during late December. This was deemed to be due to the cutting starting to rot and produce a liquid.<\/p>\r\n<p>As the others were a 100% failure, the Aspirin ones were only about 50% successful.
