Peach Leaf Curl spring 2015 update

Despite an Autumn and Winter spraying regime against peach leaf curl. It seems this year has been one of the worst, maybe because we did not have any snow or hard frosts.

My row of cordoned open field grown Peaches look sad. They will pick up over the coming weeks, but the leaves may well fall off, new ones will grow.

The only variety which has showed no sign of any leaf curl is a variety called ‘Royal George’

Needless to say there will probably be no peaches this year. But have a check of my Apricot post.
