The texture is very much like a blackberry. The fruit on this tree are the size of a pea, but the sweetness is so intense.
The fruit is rounded of black skin without neck. The flesh is of red colour with a good flavour and quite sweet. An average weight of around 30 grams.
It has been the fruit and the favourite variety of Louis XIV. Fruit has a violet skin colour with small white marks. The flesh is of light strawberry colour. Very good quality.
