Flowering Group - 2

Pick - October

This variety originated in Denmark in 1880 and is probably one of the best eating apples in autumn, it is certainly my favorite in October. It thrives in all soils, except boggy soil. Yellow fruits with reddish on the sunny side, white firm flesh, angular and it is rare to find two identical fruits.

The flesh is fine, white with green veins, juicy and a good balance of acid and sugars and with a pleasant aroma. Fragrant.

Apple is ready from October to January, but best in October-November. This variety is a more elongated version of the standard 'Filippa' variety.
