Little walnut is a small, tree or shrub usually only growing a maximum of 7m (20 ft) in height, but it is normally smaller.

Also known as Little walnut, Texas walnut, Texas black walnut, River walnut, Nogalito, Nogalillo, Namboca.

As expected from its name, it produce a compact small tree, with correspondingly small nuts of a max of 25mm diameter. The nuts are still edible, if not more shell than kernal, and the squirrels still eat them.

This tree grows natively from Texas, USA to NW Mexico. But it grows very well here in our nursery in the UK.
