It has been the fruit and the favourite variety of Louis XIV. Fruit has a violet skin colour with small white marks. The flesh is of light strawberry colour. Very good quality.
Large fruit purple, peeling easily, fine fragrance and sweet, of excellent preservation. Matures in September.
Medium fig with green skin and bright red pulp of excellent flavour.
