London Sugar Pear variety.
Fruit Description – Fruit small size 5cm diameter. Skin, pale green, becoming yellow when ripe, with a brownish tinge when fully exposed to the sun. Falls from tree when ripe. Very early ripening, typically 12th July 2011. Does not keep.
Taste – Flesh, tender, melting, very juicy, sugary, and musky.
Problems – Very healthy tree, no known problems. Except as the fruits are very sweet, they tend to attract the wasps.
