After 8 years, its finally fruited – Hawthorn – Golden Star. It had only started flowering 2 years ago, but had never set any fruit. Ok there are not very many fruit, but its a start.

Self Grafted Hawthorn branches

In just checking what branches needed cutting back for this year. I came across this Hawthorn tree that had 2 branches, that obviously had been rubbing together over the years and they had self grafted to each other.
