Apricot variety Spring Blush – finally picked today

Another lovely looking apricot in the sunshine, a real orange/red glowing colour. Very firm to the touch, but bursting with juice and flavour.

Vapourer Moth (Orgyia antiqua) caterpillar

This Vapourer Moth caterpillar was seen chewing the leaves of my quince tree. Needless to say I moved them onto some blackthorn trees. A lovely looking caterpillar.
